Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Central Railway, Mumbai invites applications for engagement of Apprentices for filling up 2532 vacancies in the designated trades at Workshops/ Units under the Apprentices Act 1961.

Vacancy Trades: Fitter, Welder, Carpenter, Painter, Tailor, Electrician, Machinist, Programming and Systems Administration Assistant, Mechanic Diesel, Laboratory Assistant, Turner, Instrument Mechanic etc. 

Age Limit:

1.The candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age as on 01-01-2021.

2.Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years in case of SC/ST candidates, 3 years in case of OBC candidates and Additional 10 years rsons with Disability.

Pay Scale: As per Apprentice Act, 1961  

Educational Qualification:

-Minimum 10th class / Matriculation examination passed or its equivalent qualification with minimum 50% marks-

-Candidates can also possess National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or Provisional Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training / State Council for Vocational Training-

Selection Process:

The merit list will be prepared on the basis of percentage of marks in Matriculation + ITI Marks in relevant trade.
